London has many surprises stored for visitors and one of the most exciting surprises is obviously its delectable cuisine. The city with its rich and royal century old tradition has evolved into a place that offers you the best of world cuisine. The capital city of the United Kingdom holds a special ovation for dishing out the best food in the world. Starting from the authentic English cuisine to French, Italian, Spanish, Indian and many others, London is home to some of the popular restaurants of UK.

While reviewing the UK restaurants, I can’t miss telling you about the Maze from the Gordon Ramsay Group in London. Frankly speaking, I found the place to be quite formal when I first visited Maze. But while I was there, the ambiance, the service, food and comfort almost engulfed me. The restaurant is located in one of the most high profile areas of London called Grosvenor Square. Maze has been acknowledged with the Michelin award. With its unique concept of fine dinning, Maze has already made a remarkable impact on the suave and trendy crowd of the United Kingdom.

Immaculately designed under the supervision of famous designer David Rockwell, this L shaped restaurant has been stylized with lots of browns and beige to give it a warm look. Truly it makes the ambience lively and warm. Maze can compete with any first class dinning restaurants in UK for its perfect and elegant ambience. The bar is exquisitely designed to give an effect of sleek and stylish atmosphere. Along with its eclectic French cuisine and a hint of Asian flavors, Maze serves the best of contemporary delicacies that would definitely lure you to come here again.

There are different preset combination lunches that you may order at Maze. One of the combinations that I tried for lunch is Loch Duart salmon with fondue of leek, vinaigrette of brown shrimps and horseradish. Other than this, there are some other combinations which I found to be absolutely amazing. You can well try out the combination like Szechuan-spiced Suffolk pork belly, chilli apple purée along with bok choy. For desserts, I would suggest you to try the Lemongrass panna cotta, pickled stem ginger, Scottish raspberries and of course shortbread.

It is no wonder that Maze has already won a series of awards since its inception. It can definitely be considered as a pride of London from under the roof of Gordon Ramsay. Overall, Maze with its style, splendor and gastronomical food is one of the hot favorite among the restaurants in UK.
