The soils in the central zone of Gavi di Gavi impart a perfumed mineral character adding complexity to lively aromas of ripe fruit and flowers. 'Ca da Bosio' is further refined by extended lees contact which imparts eloquent, complex, lingering hints of vanilla to the soft-textured dry finish.

Gavi Tenuta Neirano - £8.99
Made from Piedmont’s native Cortese vines grown in the commune of Gavi in the south of the region. The aroma is perfumed with honeysuckle and almond and the palate is beautifully balanced, finishing with a distinct bittersweet sensation.

Tommasi Lugana 'Le Fornaci' - £11.99
A fantastic single vineyard wine from a beautiful and recently purchased and replanted site by the Tommasi family, overlooking Lake Garda in Northern Italy. The Trebbiano di Lugana vines excel on the glacial soils and produces only small volumes but tip top quality grapes. Expressive and full of fresh vibrant flavours this delicious dry white is not unlike a good unoaked white burgundy. Impressive and a real find.

Orvietto Classico Baroncini - £5.99
The Orvieto hills of central Umbria produce subtle dry white wine with a delicate bouquet of straw and peach. Trebbiano is the predominant varietal but the addition of a little Malvasia and Grechetto add some complexity, giving a wine of medium bodied fruitiness.

Soave Classico 'Villa Piazzola' - £7.99
The picturesque town of Soave is situated to the northeast of Verona in the Veneto region. The town is surrounded by ancient walls and dominated by the medieval castle. The Classico wine is the heart of the region, planted with Garganega, Trebbiano and Chardonnay vines and producing the best Soaves, with real character. ‘Villa Piazzola’ has a typical hazelnut and almond nose with a soft, dry palate of concentrated apple and pear flavours.
