I have been visiting this restaurant for years - admittedly mostly as a takeaway but also eat in - because the food is always excellent, the staff friendly and service pretty quick. I am on a restricted diet and have been made ill by one other well known Indian restaurant in the Basingstoke area, but this one has never caused me a moment's problems.

My wife and I went to the Agra Balti House last night and we were the only ones in. I have to say it was the best dining experience i've ever had. The staff were polite and courteous without being overbearing and smarmy. The meal was great, the service was swift and well timed. We were treated like kings. They were chatty after the meal, they helped me on my coat, shook my hand and opened the door for me. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others and will be frequenting again. *****
