Four of us visited the Ancora Restaurant on Thursday Evening to celebrate a Birthday as we do on lots of our Birthdays and found it disappointing from the last time we visited. As usual it was very cramped but prices had crept up and although one of us was satisfied with their meal the rest of us weren't! The food wasn't exactly hot and the Pasta Carbonara which two of our party had was dry and very poor value considering how cheap it is to make. I had a pork dish which had a very peculiar taste and didn't eat much. I think that will be our last visit there which is a shame because we have been going there for many years.
