My Fiance and I have only been here twice but both times the service and the food was excellent! The restaurant,although small,had a cosy,friendly atmosphere and we were made to feel very comfortable.The portion sizes for the prices charged were very generous and the Calamari in particular was so delicious I took some home with me.We were also given a complimentary brandy while waiting for the cab we had booked. All in all we would quite happily go back there and frankly if other reviewers have had 'bad experiences' then maybe they are at fault, not the restaurant!! 5 stars from us!!

This was once a good restaurant, but we were very disappointed with our recent (and last!) visit. The service was attentive and pleasant, but the food was very under par! It has Greek names, but is far from what Greek food actually is. The 'stiffado' was made with onion rather than shallots, the kleftico rather tasteless and served on a lot of anaemic white rice with a type of roast potato, and the so-called 'crab' was mixed with fake crab in the starter (this is a real no-no!). The saganaki was not authentic, being made with feta rather than the cheese mentioned in the menu. I agree with the earlier reviewer who said that this was not a Greek restaurant - the management should come clean and give up pretending to serve Greek dishes. I would give our evening there 2 stars out of 5, and that's generous!

There is nothing greek about this restorant. even if it was free i would not go there again. booked for 9 pm.was there at 9 pm. got the drinks ordered starter and main meal and at 9.50 the main meal turned up.the meal was crap. greek salad its included with evrything and the salad its not greek,its tesco salad.just bought from tesco and poured on your plate.the tables are so small you can just about fit two plates on it.the place its so small and loud you can hear the peoples conversation from downstairs if you are upstairs.to keepit short it was crap fool crap servis crap place waste of money and time.

Went to the Greek taverna for my wifes birthday and the service was diabolical. Completely pissed and my wife off and ruined her birthday thanks to the snotty bitch that served us. Speaking to some pals I hear that the ownership has changed hands. New owners must be a bunch of arseholes. I used to frequent the restaurant quite often for special occasions but never going to that shithole again. Neither will my friends who used to go there often or anyone else i can pass the message onto.

Our family have been eating at this restaurant for years! The food is delicious and there is a great atmosphere. George is great at making every one feel very welcome. (they also do a great lunch menu for a girlie lunch!)
