becketts is a horrible mannered restaurant

I was last at this restaurant about 12 months ago and whilst the food was nice, the surroundings were a bit tired and dated. I re-visited again last weekend and was blown away with the change from my previous visit! The decor has changed beyond recognition from dark and moody to light, spacious and airy. Very modern farmhouse, well done design team!! The food was amazing too, even better than I remembered. Great, hearty English breakfasts and traditional favourites like the homemade fish pie that my colleague enjoyed. The staff even look better in black (I'm sure they had something like orange or yellow on last time!) and they were all polite, efficient and seemed to know their roles very well. I'd recommend this restaurant every day of the week and twice on a Sunday!!
