We went to Antibo in Derby for my boyfriends birthday. We were both very disappointed. Even though we had booked a table we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. I ordered sea bass, but before I ordered I checked that it wouldn't be served with it's head on and I was told it wouldn't - but it was. We found it almost impossible to get anybodys attention to get more drinks with our meal, and when we eventually did the waiter seemed very vague, went and took an order from another table after us and needless to say our drinks never arrived. The service was very poor and in the end we didn't bother to order dessert or coffee. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. We won't be going back and won't be recommending it to anybody.

After all the rave reviews i had heard about the Antibo restuarant, i decided to check it out for myself. Wholeheartedly i would have to say i was extremely disappointed. Althought the cuisine tasted really nice at the time, i suffered from a bout of food poisoning and ended up in hospital and i know it wasnt from anything else as i had clammed the entire day for the meal at night. On the positive side it looked a nice clean resturant and i was greeted at the door and served pretty quickly, the staff seemed quite welcoming also but i had trouble in understanding what most of them were saying. On the whole i dont think i'll be going back and wouldnt really recommend it to any of my friends. There are a lot of really nice restuarants in Derby but i feel this one has let me down and my county down!
