AVOID this so called restaurant completely!!!!!!! ITS A JOKE. Visited on my wifes birthday when we were served after an hours wait - cold raw fish starters, tepid closed gritty mussels,then after another 40 minutes wait 3 out of 4 Main courses were served when I was told they had ran out of pasta!!!!! and would I make do with something else. Embarassing or what especially as one of guests was to be a new business asssociate. Got no apology on complaining to the Management. Written complaint remains unanswered. BEST TO AVOID SAVINIS AT ALL COSTS GO TO Di Maggios, its a far superior well serviced restaurant and the quality of food in our experience has always been excellent at a fraction of the price.

My wife and I booked to visit Savinis at 7pm on a Saturday. We arrived and were told that our table wasn't ready, but would only be 2 mins. 30 mins later we complained and were shown to a hastily prepared table. We ordered and enjoyed a drink when it arrived after 15mins. The table of 6 beside us were finished their starter, well 5 of them were before the 6th starter arrived. Same story for the table of 4 behind us. We tried to get the manager, but he wad busy in the kitchen when our starter hadn't arrived after 40mins (Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare's anyone?...) Eventually the owners sister appeared and tried to tell us that because our foccacia was freshly prepared it took some time! Needless to say we walked out with several of the other tables behind us ready to do the same. Had lots of lovely meals there, but now would prefer a poke in the eye with a sharp stick than go back. AVOID!!!!!!
