Took the advice from this web site and took my family for dinner.I found it very expensive for the meal supplied, the portions were normal but not large and the waitress must have had a bad day and was like a dragon, breathing fire every time she came near the table. Not reccommended. dave

We booked a table for 7 as a friend of ours was leaving the neighbourhood, so we though it would be nice to take her out for dinner. Albertos was great - good atmosphere, very friendly proprietor and excellent food. Everything was served piping hot and only praise came from everyone at our table. We would all give this restaurant 10 out of 10.

I live local to this restaurant and never knew it was there. Wow, the food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. A pleasant mixture of italian and 'english' dishes. The food portions are on the large size, with the starters being enough for some people. There is well stocked wine list of mainly italian brands, with a small stock of beers and spirts. (A nice touch is a jug of ice water on request -free) The price of the meal can seem high, but i feel that it is valid for The service that you receive. (there is no added service charge) Booking is a must, I saw people being turned away as the restaurant was booked solid. (you are not rushed out the door) and people who had booked waiting for their table, happy to do so. on a rating out of 10 i would gladly give 10

The food is fantastic and Alberto is absolutley brilliant. I would also recomend the Duck with vegetables. A great place for a great meal.
