Just had dinner at the stirrup, loved it. The location of the restaurant is very central and easy to find. Upon first arriving was greeted with a smile and given the best table in the house, right by the window. The waitress we had was very helpful and had great menu knowlege. I decided not to have a starter and went straight for the steak, medium rare. This was amongst the best I've ever had, could not fault it, cooked to perfection tasted great. The best bit for me was the desert. A gorgeous eton mess and the mrs had the home made chocolate brownie, which I tried and loved. Have just booked a table in advance for my birthday in 3 weeks, can't wait to go back! Make sure you leave room for desert, they are to die for!

From the outside it looks to be a quaint tearoom, but it is deceiving as there is a more space throughout and the decoration is very modern and above all the food is wonderful. The ambience was good and the staff attentive in a good way. My starter of brown onion soup was delicious and a meal in itself, never mind as a starter, it came topped with small french bread sliced and topped with cheese (big croutons) very filling & worth every penny for my 2nd course i had calves liver, which came accompanied with mashed potato, bacon and vegetables & gravy, this was tasty and cost approx £10.95 and worth the money Then followed by a cheeseboard and coffees - I spent a lovely afternoon at The Stirrup Restaurant, and would reccommend it to anyone and I will definitely be back. A definite find.

Top chef, top food and very reasonably priced. If you want a fantastic meal in Haworth/Keighley or the surrounding area then the Stirrup is a must. You will not be disappointed. Only been opened a few weeks but the word is spreading fast!
