Responding to the huge billboard advert in Lincoln, I was expecting something special. How wrong I was. The restaurant is smartly decorated and well appointed,but they seem to have fogotten to invest in decent staff and, above all, a decent chef. Drinks and food were dumped in front of me with the minimum of skill. And the food was a huge disappointment. Prawn Puri just about acceptable, if overly oily, followed by a chicken jalfrezi which was awful. Swimming in fat, not well spiced, it ammounted to a few pieces of barbeque style tikka chicken with a large quantity of unappealing slivvers of onion and a couple of sad looking chillies glistening in the fat. Hard to tell what the colour was like due to the blue tinged lighting that leaves everything looking grey. Rice was ok as was the chappatti, but any fool can cook that. Perhaps it was a bad night. But the restaurant was quiet, so there was no excuse. I will not be returning.

I eat here I think 2 weeks after it had opened. My first impressions what this restaurant is very different to other indian restaurants in the area. Decor was very stylish and understated and the option of sepearte bar and lounge for drinks and to relax after the meal was refreshing. The food was very tasty and I would have to say is teh best I have tasted in Lincolnshire. Will definately go back when next in the area.
