In the Sultan’s Palace Bar Lounge, you may choose an exclusive Cocktail, relax and absorb the atmosphere whilst reading the intoxicating menu of Mediterranean delights. Everything is presented beautifully – a different antique plate for each guest, together with old silver and bone handled cutlery – all laid upon woven table cloths that look like faded Turkish carpets.
Weekend entertainment is just as unique as everything else at The Silk Road. It could be a Male or a Female Belly Dancer, a 6pcs Brazilian & Latin Jazz Band or a Honky-Tonk Steel Guitarist – to name but a few. Also available for Corporate Entertainment companies wishing to treat their clients, or their staff, to a fantastic night out with a wide variety of menus to suit every possible requirement. Capacity is around 60 seated/80 buffet style, leaving room for a dance floor!
Altogether The Silk Road Restaurant is a memorable experience and also terrific value for money and whether you are looking for a quiet, romantic dinner for two in the week, or something more lively and exciting at the weekend, this Restaurant has to be your first choice. They have managed to create a reputation in Sussex that is proving very hard to follow.

Restaurant - Silk Rooms Littlehampton. Unfortunately this is not a positive review as despite the advertising and reviews for the above restaurant it did not live up to its glossy image. there were ten of us at the meal and the meze and mains were ordered together. The meze arrived in a fairly timely manner but the main course took so long that one of the junior members had actually fallen asleep. the waitress was extremely unpleasant with no apology for the poor service and she seemed far more interested in chatting to another party than even enquiring as to how our meal was. the meze was fine but the main course was very mediocre. Overall it was a very poor eating experience without even so much as a thankyou for the £180.00 bill paid on the way out. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The Silk Road Restaurant is a fabulous restaurant. I have been there many times over the 6 years they have been opened. The atmosphere, food, hospitality, are wonderful and you really feel as though you are treating yourself whenever you visit. As well as a regular restaurant they also have great entertainment nights on weekly and monthly bookings. Every Saturday there is a female belly dancer. They have a monthly gorgeous male Egyptian belly dancer. Included in their special nights are Brazilian Jazz, Blues, Flamenco, disco nights and many more. It is well worth getting yourself on their mailing list to find out what is on. There is a fabulous Sultan's palace room where you can have a pre dinner drink, it is so romantic and spell binding. I regularly take my friends and relatives from London whenever they visit me. In fact over the last 2 years I seem to have had an awful lot of visitors!
