I have discovered the greatest restaurant around -What can I say but this is THE place to go in Liverpool -- the jewel of Russia in Merseyside! The food is as sumptuous as the menu is diverse; the staff are ALWAYS thinking of you first and the whole experience is second to none. Everyone is treated with excellent customer service, whether you are a footballer, film star or man on the street -- and many stars do eat in there! This restaurant is a testiment to the excellent cuisine that is available in Liverpool.......the St Petersburg and it's staff lead the way in the dining experience. The owners are friendly and always take the time to mingle with the guests and make them feel welcome. I can't stress enough how good this restaurant is.........I only wish I had discovered it earlier! Thanks to all the staff who make the experience of eating at the ONLY Russian restaurant in the area a great one! Spassibo! (and you have GOT to try their blini!!!)

This was quite a bizarre experience, but I loved all of it - the entertainment was great - Dr Zhivago being played perfectly on the bontempi just added to the atmosphere. The menu is extremely extensive - great lamb and pickles etc, and the raspberry vodka is to die for. I will certainly return!
