Its a pretty laid back place with the usual range of West African food. Bit dark and damp smelling perhaps. You can expect a pretty slow reaction throughout the meal, almost as if you were not there! The food , when it eventually comes, is authentic West African and pretty freshly cooked most of the time. OK for an interesting experience, probably once only. The Nigerian lady who took me there goes there a couple of times a month but I have not been back with her since. For this type of restaurant you might be better off with Mother Calabar in Hendon, much brighter and a little more responsive. Tony Glazier

Absolutely superb food. wait for food to be cooked, not a fast food joint! but worth the wait. The groundnut soup with chicken and pounded yam is delicious.
