I have visited Aladdin Restaurant about 4 times now, and it just gets better. The cuisine is middle eastern/arabic. There is a huge choice of delicious starters: cold/hot, meat/ vegetarian and the sucuk, houmous and deep fried lamb parcels are to die for. There is a great choice of main meals with the tastiest chicken kebab I've ever had. The mixed kebab plate for a taste of everything is fantastic, but main meals are really varied with a great choice of stews for want of a better word. Lots of different salads to choose from also. The restaurant is not licenced which is fine by me, and gives you the opportunity of taking your favourite wine/beer, wine is opened for 50 pence per bottle and you don't end up paying extortionate prices. The decor probably needs a bit of an update, but is pleasant enough and very clean. The upstairs is for smoking, so non-smokers do enjoy a smoke free environment downstairs. The staff are very friendly, and it is advisable to book - especially at weekends. Go - enjoy mmmmmmmmm.
