Appalling. Dreadful waiter, rude and surly. Ruined our evening. Refused to smile, unhelpful, walked away from the table whilst we tried to order starters, and again on the pudding order. We all sat with our mouths open in amazement! Desperately tried to attract his attention for drinks (diet cokes) restaurant empty, so no demands on his time from other diners. Absolutely atrocious. Never Again.

I went to The Fox & Pheasant for a group meal from the carvery. The service was very poor. A continuous, very long queue for the carvery with a wait time of 20 mins to be served some very mediocre fayre. Starter and desert are served at your table. The starter arrived promptly and was very nice, the desert arrived only after some prompting of staff and could only be described dull. Would I go back there? Not until the abolition of burger bars [sic]
