After a delightful stay in the local area we headed to Tony's in search of a charming little italian restaurant with a family atmosphere.How we regretted that decision. Firstly half the things on the menu weren't available,no apology was made and we were made to feel quite uncomfortable.after just about managing to chew our way through the overpriced prawn starter (not for the faint hearted) it was then time for the main,lamb.to be honest,had we taken off our shoes,cut them into manageable strips and accompanied this with some used dishwater it would have more pleasant,it really was not enjoyable. At the close of this 'fine dining' we made a complaint after receiving the bill (which would amount to a small second mortgage on a holiday home in the south of france) to be finally informed it was the chefs fault. Tony (dont expect a charming Italian family man,think John Prescott after one too many shandy's) finally arrived,not in an understanding caring manner,but in an aggresive way. If you r looking for a nice friendly atmosphere and a good meal,KEEP AWAY,you'd be better off at a little chef with an Olympic Breakfast and a pocket full of change.
