My wife and I ate in oaks restaurant a couple of days ago, for our anniversary. We could not have asked for anything better! The abience and views out across their beautiful landscaped gardens, the staff, the wine and of course the food which is all homemade, they are Produced in Kent accredited. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the waiting staff, they were very efficient. They have a good varied selection of wines available from around the world. To begin with we were presented with a selection of flavoured homemade rolls. For our starters my wife had seafood platter and i had the 'tenterden pate' which is one of thir signature dishes. To follow my wife had pan-fried swordfish with a tangy lime and onion pickle, whilst i had the slow roasted pork belly with an eldeflower wine and cream sauce. For our dessert we both went for creme brulee, which had an amazing rhubarb compot in set in the bottom of it. To round of our lovely meal we had freshly ground coffee with homemade petit fours. Our thanks to all the staff, we will definately be back, next time with others in tow!!
