This is a beautiful & exciting experience from start to finish. Food is excellent, African treats such as Ugandan cassava (Mogo) & smoked peri peri poussin. Im now addicted to their peri peri & jalapeno sauces which you can buy from the restaurant. There's an open plan kitchen which glows from the back, complementing the contemporary design throughout. A sort of rustic chic feel is what I got. Fantastic music, African beats & a bit of African salsa. There was a flyer on the table advertising the salsa classes that begin in Jan. That will work extremely well in Afrikana. I like how its a non-smoking restaurant throughout. Just delightful aromas from the kitchen. Afrikana, Two thumbs up!
