The Red Lion at Haigh is restaurant unlike most others, some how in the mist of Wigan it manages to bring together various classes in society under one ceiling for dining of great food, great atmosphere and most of all AMAZING service. All three I believe make up the foundation to a good night out. The restaurant does have a selection of set menus running all week every day, with the exception of Saturday evening, when an A La Carte menu is served. So what made me come home and write a review, even though I have visited there on several occasions. The service. Whilst visiting there on Saturday evening with my family I have experienced such good, well mannered, well dressed and well trained Waiting Staff for as long as I can remember. With two of the staff specifically, two young men, always there awaiting to help you, clear your table, etc. Finally I would like to finish by simply thanking the staff at the Red Lion who I hope to be seeing again in the near future.
