I have been going to this pub for many years. The staff have always been great. However since the new manager arrived last year he has definitely improved the moral in the team and the quality of the fOod and service. Totally disagree with comment from Olivia totally ridiculous. I'm sorry but 15min stood in a queue with noone in front of you I'm sure any sane person would say something earlier!!! Top place best food ever!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!! Totally recommend this pub 5 star food 5 star team

I visit the vale royal often and never have any complaints but went 7th December 2010 and was disgusted. I was waiting 15 minutes to get served even though there were no customers in front of me. I then waited another 10 mins to get my food. The gammon was full of fat and the beef was full of blood. The tables had not been cleaned and the cutlery had been put back on the tables dirty. I also had to ask to have the tiolets unlocked only to be told they were out of order.

went to vale royal 7th December 2010 and was disgusted by the service we received. Had to wait 15 minutes before the staff took our order as they were too busy chatting with each other. Then the meat was full of fat and vegetables had dried out. The tables hadn't been wiped down after previous customers and the cutlery had been put back on the table filthy.

How ridiculous is this? Arrived at the Vale Royal on the 28th October 2009 at 7.30. p.m., only to be informed that there was no more meat available! This was a good ONE AND A HALF HOURS before the restaurant stopped serving food. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The consequence of this was that my wife and I had to visit another local restaurant in which we had an excellent meal. We are NOT impressed at all with the Vale Royal. Dissatisfied customers.

Friday, 2.30 p.m. plenty tables - carvery £3.50 comprising beef, turkey and ham all sliced off the bone. As much veg as you want. Excellent value for money
